DCS Stops in Bookland Heights with "Synarchy"

Book 1: The Awakening

A plan is exposed, centuries in the making and so sinister not even the legend himself could have predicted the depth of its impact on the world. In his lifetime Stefano Terenzio had a merciless ambition for absolute power. Two generations later the shock wave he ignited was still being felt. Now, as the world inches closer to 2012 sides are chosen, families divide and an epic battle begins that will determine whether mankind continues existing in a world of lies or shatters the chains that have held us prisoner since his-story was written.

Shocking yet hopeful, Synarchy slowly unravels the tightly laced reality we have created for ourselves. Blending the metaphysical with conspiracy, fact with fiction, debut author DCS has opened up a world that will force you to rethink everything you believe about your own. The knowledge within provokes the question: do you really want to know?

  1. Welcome, DCS!

Being a visual person, I love the cover of your book...

With this, your debut, how is the whole "author" thing feeling? Have you been wanting to write this book for some time?

  3. Good morning ladies, well, afternoon where I am :D

Diana I'm very excited being an author these days! After some trial and error I feel like I've got the hang of what online marketing, and promotion is all about it so, its been an awesome learning experience!

It took me a year and half to write Synarchy. Its hard to be creative when your juggling a full time job in Corporate America! Thankfully, I got out of that industry, and now my 'fake' job as I like to call it in the service industry gives me a lot more time, and energy to focus on writing.

Hey Mary, and thanks! I'm really excited to be here. I suffer from too many ideas syndrome, hehe. I've got at least six more book ideas running around in my head for the Synarchy Series. After book two, I want to go into the stories of the individual characters, and then I've got another crazy idea where I'm going to twist it from there. So we'll see how it goes :D

  4. You sound like a very energetic person/author! It takes energy, doesn't it, to juggle writing, working & marketing...

Is there one thing you wish someone had told you before you "got into this!"?

  5. I love both the cover and the synopsis of the book. You look very young--that's a good thing, you'll have the energy to do all that's expected of you? Speaking of that--is there something happening that you didn't expect?

  6. Hey Diana! Yes, it takes a lot of energy and self discipline. Writing the book was almost easy compared to all the things you have to do after the fact to promote yourself.

Thinking back to your question Diana, I wish there was a one stop place where authors could go, and learn about all the online promotion tools there are out there. It seems like I'm finding a new one everyday! And then once you find them you have to weigh whether or not this one is worth the effort versus this one. And then once you get on them, how do you utilize them to their maximum potential? I think I'm still figuring this one out. Maybe I should start blogging about it, hehe.

Hey Meredith! Your Rock Bluff PD crime series sounds interesting, I'm going to have to look it up. Thanks for the compliment! I did the cover myself, with some heavy critiquing from my brother whose got a really impressive artists eye.

Something happening that I didn't expect? Well, I almost didn't know what to expect. There's a lot of good information out there, but at the same time you set these expectations for yourself, so, I might have been a little over zealous in how long I thought it would take me to be a full time writer :D. It's definitely a long term process, a lot of commitment and lot of fun hard, work. Being a fellow author I'm sure you know that :D
