  1. I'm reading Point Surrender and all I can say is that Anne Carter is a wonderful writer and super story-teller!

She perfect "first stop" on the Bookland Heights train. Whoo-whoo! (train whistle, in case you didn't know) :>)

  2. Hi Anne,

Hope you're enjoying the ride! What's your favorite character to write?

  3. I've read both POINT SURRENDER and LOCKER SHOCK, and I definitely have to say that they're both worth the read!

  4. Nice to see my fan club showed up! :)

In POINT SURRENDER, my favorite character to write was actually Irena Hastings, the innkeeper who apparently harbors a long-held grudge. At first a warm, grandmotherly type, Miss Hastings evolves (as all good characters do) a old spinster with a bad taste in her mouth.

Loving the ride, will try to pick up more "passengers" as we travel along!

  5. Well, that didn't work well. Although I'm quite sure I typed it perfectly, Blogger removed some letters from my post. (Yeah, I know: garbage in, garbage out...)

Was supposed to say Miss Hastings evolves into an old spinster...

  6. Don't you love writing characters with real flaws? Much more fun than a good-two-shoes.

  7. Yeah, if authors wrote about characters with no flaws, they'd all be writing about ME!

Hey, they could, you don't know?!?!
